THE LEATHER GREASER HOODIE

We are fortunate to have the legendary Danny Boy O'Connor, who is a Tulsa transplant, as big supporter of our local community. Not only did Danny contribute heavily to our 90's rap scene with his group House of Pain, he also spent countless years as a creative for numerous streetwear brands. His passion project that brought him to Tulsa, Oklahoma was the purchase of the Outsiders House in 2015. He spent countless hours over the span of 3+ years transforming this house into one of Tulsa most iconic museums. This Tulsa gem is a must see when you visit. 

Recently Danny was invited to attend the world premiere of The Outsiders musical in New York City. You can probably guess what the next words out of our mouth were, "what are you going to wear?!" 

After our initial meeting we discussed the design and agreed upon a few details. The hoodie needed to be tonal black suede, while incorporating the tag-lines in Old English font, "GREASER", "NORTH TULSA", and "STAY GOLD". 

We produced a 1 of 1 GREASER hoodie out of black cowhide suede leather for Danny. This collaboration was born from our shared love of design and details. We are in the works to launch a limited production run of the leather GREASER Hoodie, as well a sweatshirt hoodie. Please stay tuned for this exciting collaboration.
